1. Introduction
Move Mofos Fighting Fit ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Move Mofos Fighting Fit mobile application and web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
- Account information: name, email address and profile details.
- Athletic profile: height, weight, age, sport, experience and goals.
- Coach–athlete relationship: your assigned coach and related information.
2.2 Health & Fitness Data
With your consent, we collect:
- Workout data: prescribed sessions, sets, reps, RPE and duration.
- Heart rate & recovery: live heart rate from a connected Bluetooth monitor, plus heart-rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate used to calculate your recovery and readiness.
- Body weight & nutrition: weight check-ins and the meals/macros you log.
2.3 Apple Health Integration
If you grant permission, the iOS app reads heart-rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate from Apple Health to calculate your morning recovery and readiness. We only access the Apple Health data you explicitly authorise, use it solely to power your recovery features, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
2.4 Messages
Messages you exchange with your coach in the app are stored so we can deliver the conversation to both of you.
2.5 Device & Usage Information
- Device type, operating system and app version.
- A push-notification identifier (so we can send reminders and coach alerts).
- Crash reports and basic performance data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service.
- Personalise your training, recovery and nutrition experience.
- Enable coach–athlete communication and program delivery.
- Track your progress over time.
- Send reminders and notifications you've enabled.
- Keep the Service secure.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
4.1 Coach–Athlete Sharing
If you are connected to a coach, your coach can see your training, recovery and progress data, and your messages, to provide coaching.
4.2 Service Providers
- Supabase: secure data storage and authentication.
- OneSignal: delivery of push notifications.
- Anthropic (Claude AI): optional AI-powered nutrition analysis — see 4.3 below.
4.3 AI Nutrition Analysis (Opt-In)
If — and only if — you turn on AI Nutrition Analysis in Settings, the meal descriptions you enter are sent to Anthropic PBC (Claude AI) to estimate calories and macronutrients. We send only the meal-description text you type; we do not send your name, contact details or other health data with it. Anthropic processes this text to return the nutritional estimate and is contractually required to protect it to a standard equivalent to this policy and not to use it to train its models. This feature is off by default, requires your explicit consent, and you can turn it off again at any time in Settings — after which no meal data is sent to Anthropic. When it is off, nutrition logging still works; you simply enter macros yourself.
4.4 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or health data, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. Data Security
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Secure authentication with row-level security.
- Limited access to personal data.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your information while your account is active. You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and you can delete your account at any time from the app (More → Profile → Delete Account). You may also withdraw Apple Health or notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
